Having won back-to-back ‘Return On Investment’ Effies in 2018 and 2019, we’re proud to announce that together again with Mitsubishi Motors, we have now won a highly coveted ‘Long Term Effects’ Effie at the 2020 Awards.

Our organising idea ‘Built For The Time Of Your Life’ has helped move Mitsubishi from dormant to the definitive #2 SUV brand. This transformative story began in 2016 when we positioned them as the people’s SUV expert and injected genuine emotion into brand, product and importantly retail. In 2018 we raised the aspiration to attract new audiences and achieved Mitsubishi Motors Australia’s best-ever annual sales result. And in 2019 – 2020, unlike the other top 5 SUV brands, we still managed to grow during the automotive recession. Proving no matter how bumpy the road, when emotion shifts up a gear, brand and business accelerates.



The judges said “This case should be read by all marketers and their agencies as an example of finding the core emotion of a brand, finding the core benefits of a product and connecting both with a strong campaign … then sticking with the campaign and investing in it for a long term outcome which they deserved … well done.”


We’re also extremely honoured to note that based on these results, we are ’Australia’s Most Effective Independent Creative Agency’ over the 2018-2020 period. There is no bigger validation of effectiveness in our industry, or of our agency philosophy that ‘When we move people, we move business’.
